E-0. GENERAL
E-0.1 Outline of the Method - The painted film of the material on a standard bituminous surface is subjected to traction of rubber tyred wheels with specified load and for specified time. At the end of the stipulated period, the surface is examined for wear.

E-1.2.1 - The material of Grade 1 shall be deemed to have passed the test if it wears out only after 6 hours.

E-1.2.2 - The material of Grade 2 shall be deemed to have passed the test if it wears out between 1
and 6 hours.
