LITTLE-BIT slowly until the
heated wire just begins to turn from orange to gray.This
is the optimum foam/thermocole cutting temperature of
the wire & then try to cut the Foam/Thermocole. If one
feels that the cutting is improper ,the by adjustments
of POT-REGULATOR knob (by increasing/decreasing
permutation-combinations, one can optimize the use of
m/c.
Anything hotter will cause premature wire failure or
anything cooler will require too much feed pressure on
the wire causing premature failure. If the wire is too
hot, the cut may not be as accurate as you would like. A
wire that is too hot will melt the foam too quickly at
the beginning of the cut and less quickly as the wire
cools off resulting in an inaccurate cut.

IMP NOTE: The above Foam Cutter is primarily used for
“LOW DENSITY” PU type of foam like:
High Resiliency (HR)
Seating Foam Cushion - SOFT (2.2 lb / cu. ft.
Density - ILD: 28)
Medium Standard Seating Foam Cushion - MEDIUM (2.0
lb / cu. ft. Density - ILD: 30)
Above foam are used for mattresses, average sofa and
chair cushions, upper scale furniture seating and
mattresses.
Also it can be used for LOW DENSITY Thermocole cutting
of any variable thickness.
NOTE: We are in
process of constant alternate design & development of
the UNIT to suit various needs of END-USERS, hence the
product design & photo will change without notice ,
which is to be noted firmly.
The above model now is being made in two parts. One is
Control Box Unit with regulator in CRCA MS Powder coated
Unit & second part is HOT wire Unit completely made in
wooden to prevent damages in transport & shock-proof.
